Dystopian X Vision is an industrial metal project created by Luxembourg-based musician, songwriter and producer Ioannis “John” Ampeliotis. Created as an outlet for intense emotions, inner conflict and reflections on modern society, it combines heavy guitars, dark electronic textures and emotionally charged vocals with themes of control, isolation, resistance and self-awareness. John’s musical journey began long before Dystopian X Vision. As the founder and frontman of rock band Luxifer, he gained extensive experience through songwriting, recording and live performances across Luxembourg and Germany, as well as appearances on radio, television and the Luxembourg Song Contest selection. Dystopian X Vision marked the beginning of a darker and more personal creative direction. Since its launch, it has built a growing catalogue of singles, including “Heartless” and “Have a Gray Day”, while receiving repeated coverage from Orkus! Magazine and a feature in SLAM Alternative Music Magazine. The project is now evolving into a full live-band experience, with the aim of bringing its dystopian world, strong visual identity and confrontational energy to stages across Luxembourg and Europe.
